Kinder Basketball Program
The Kinder Basketball Program is designed for children ages 4 and 5 to be introduced to the game of basketball through various skills and drills sessions. The basketball session lasts one hour, and Athletes for Christ creates a fun atmosphere where the kids can learn about Jesus Christ and basketball. Basketball Sessions are once a week on a Saturday Morning at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown or Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church in Bethlehem.
1st and 2nd Grade Program
The 1st and 2nd Grade Program is designed for children in those grades. These children are taught the basics of basketball as well as some advanced skills that will allow them to progress as basketball players. They are also taught about Jesus Christ in everything they do. The 1st and 2nd grade Teams practice once a week and have one game on Saturdays at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church.
3rd and 4th Grade Program
The 3rd and 4th Grade Program is desgined for children in those grades. These children are taught the basics of basketball, but they are also taught some advanced skills that will help them when the play games against local youth associations and in tournaments (if that opportunity presents itself). The 3rd and 4th Grade Teams practice at least once a week, and may have up to as many as two games a week depending on the schedule and the number of teams that AFC Basketball will play against. Games will be played at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, and other local gyms as deemed by the schedule.
5th and 6th Grade Program
The 5th and 6th Grade Program is designed for children in those grades. These childen are taught advanced skills that will help them when these teams play in their league games. These teams compete against various local youth associations and in tournaments (if that opportunity presents itself). The 5th and 6th Grade Teams practice at least once a week, and may have up to as many as two games a week depending on the schedule and the number of teams that AFC Basketball will play against. 7th thru 9th Grade Program
