Athletes for Christ Basketball Program

Once again, God has allowed AFC Basketball to have record numbers for the winter of 2012-2013.  The AFC Basketball Program has close to 160 total kids representing 17 teams in 3 different leagues across the Lehigh Valley.

The Kinder-Program will play in the Athletes for Christ In-House Kinder League, and there are five teams that make up that league.  The teams will play each other every Saturday Morning beginning January 5 and going through March 9.

The 1st and 2nd Grade Program will play in the Athletes for Chrst Mini-League with Emmaus Youth Association.  These eight teams will play scrimmage games against each other every week starting January 5 and going through March 9.

The 3rd and 4th Grade Progam will play in the Athletes for Christ Mini-League with Emmaus Youth Association and Upper Milford Youth Association.  These eight teams will play games against each other starting January 5 and going through March 9.

The 5th and 6th Grade Co-Ed Team will play in the East Penn Youth Basketball League.  This team will compete against teams from the Emmaus Youth Association and Salisbury Youth Association.  Along with playing a regular season with these teams, they will also have playoffs and a championship to end the season.

The 7th-9th Grade Teams will play in the East Penn Youth Basketbal League.  These teams will compete against teams from Emmaus Youth Association, Lower Macungie Youth Association, Salisbury Youth Association, and East Side Youth Center.  Along with playing a regular season with these teams, they will also have playoffs and a championship to end the season.

Please pray that all teams will show Jesus Christ through their actions on and off the court, and may the LORD be truly blessed by what He sees this year.
