Athletes for Christ Soccer is dedicated to teaching kids the game of soccer on multiple levels.
The micro soccer program begins with kids age three. These kids learn the basics of the game from coaches who stress the importance of having a great time, and showing the love of Jesus Christ. All micro soccer sessions are at 10:30 AM, and they take place at Macungie Church of the Nazarene 3800 Brookside Rd. Macungie, Pa. 18062. Child must be three years old by July 31, 2012. No exceptions.
u5/u6 Developmental Program. This developmental program’s main focus is to make sure these youngsters have a great time while learning the game of soccer. Child must be four years old by July 31, 2012. No exceptions.
The u6 in-house program is designed for the children who are four and five year olds. Like the micro program, much emphasis is focused on teaching the kids the basics of soccer in atmosphere that creates playful learning. These kids are placed on co-ed teams that play each other. The in-house program has fall, winter, spring and summer seasons. Fall and Spring Sessions take place at 9:00 AM at Macungie Church of the Nazarene located at 3800 Brookside Rd. Macungie, Pa. 18062. Child must be five years old by July 31, 2012. No exceptions.
The u7 developmental program is set up for children ages six and seven. These kids are placed on gender-based teams, and then they play games against various local youth associations. These teams practice once a week and play a game once week. These kids also have the opportunity to play in an indoor soccer league as well in the months of January, February, and March. The developmental program has fall, winter, spring, and summer seasons. Practice locations are at Bethany located at 1208 Brookside Rd. Allentown, Pa. 18106 or at Macungie Church of the Nazarene located at 3800 Brookside Rd. Macungie, Pa. 18062. Child must be six years old by July 31, 2011. No exceptions.
The recreational/travel program is set up for children 8 years and older. These children are placed on gender based teams, and then they compete against other club teams. These teams also have the opportunity to play in an indoor league as well as play in multiple tournaments throughout the year. Practice locations are at Bethany located at 1208 Brookside Rd. Allentown, Pa. 18106 or at Macungie Church of the Nazarene located at 3800 Brookside Rd. Macungie, Pa. 18062. Child needs to be 8 years old by July 31, 2012
We currently have over 200 kids playing soccer from the u4 - u14 level.
